A name that has gone down in legend
Possibly the best known of Venice's hotels and in no small part due to its many famous guests (Balzac, Proust, Georges Sand), it consists of the highly reputed Dandolo palace (14th century and with 91 rooms available) and a modern annex, the Danielino (a further 81 rooms). With Saint Mark's square just nearby, this place is an absolute must for all lovers of Venetian splendour with its Fortuny fabrics and many objets d'art.
